AAACSR Seeking a Development and Policy Fellow
Responsibilities
• Conduct research on AAACSR’s core issues - corporate social responsibility, human and labor rights, environmental justice and sustainability, supply chain sustainability and fairness, and protecting the American consumer and economy
• Identify potential partners to build alliance and ways to expand the network
• Put together written communication (e.g., technical reports, fact sheets, policy briefs, newsletter) and presentations for diverse policy, academic, and business audiences
• Assist with social media and outreach
• Work closely with the director and provide technical assistance
Required Qualifications
• Junior or senior level undergraduate or graduate student (or have graduated within 6 months of fellowship program start date) in political science, environmental and social sciences, environmental and climate justice, engineering and public policy
• Interest in AAACSR core issues
• Proven ability to gather and synthesize information for targeted academic, business, and policy audience
•Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to multi-task and work within a team
•Professional proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous work experience in nonprofit organizations
• Experience with project management and communication tools (MailChimp)
